Quality assurance (QA) is the process of ensuring that a company's quality requirements are met. This process includes planning and monitoring the company's product manufacturing activities. Quality assurance is very much needed in the process of making a product, so that the work carried out remains effective.
The Quality assurance method focuses on building a good process to produce a product with the quality already in it, rather than going through an unmonitored production process trying to "quality check" the finished product. Quality assurance includes processes and procedures that systematically monitor various aspects of a service or facility. Through audits and other forms of assessment, quality assurance efforts detect and correct problems or variances that fall outside of established standards or requirements.
